June Community Events Around The Leawood Neighborhood

Mesa, Arizona is a vibrant city where something interesting is always happening! Here are some June 2015 events around the Leawood community that you might be interested in:

  • All Shook Up: In Mesa between June 9 to July 18 is a guitar playing roustabout inspired and featuring songs by Elvis Presley like ‘Jailhouse Rock’, ‘Heartbreak Hotel’, and ‘Don’t Be Cruel’. This will be at The Palms Theater for the matinee and evening performances. Admission is $15-$52.
  • Corn Roast @ the Pit: Happening at the Queen Creek Olive Mill from June 11 to June 13, 2015. The Pit opens for dinner between 4-7 pm. In addition to the Pit Menu, there will be Grilled Corn with their olive oil and herb bastes. There will be Four Peaks beer on tap, house wines, bottled water and live music. Admission is free and food and beverage for sale.
  • An Evening with Art Garfunkel: Come and enjoy Art Garfunkel’s famed beautiful countertenor at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts on June 17 and 18, 2015. 40 years since the recording of  ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ arts music remains true and fine. Admission charges to be announced.
  • Bye Bye Birdie: One of the most exciting Leawood neighborhood news is the musical show that will be in town on June 26, 27, and 29, 2015 at Queen Creek Performing Arts Center as from 7 pm. This is a show to be enjoyed by everybody and it promises top imagination and frivolity. Admission is $12.50.
